Position Overview
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in the planning, design, and delivery of municipal and private development projects. The ideal candidate is technically skilled with a passion for design in programs such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Mike+, and ArcGIS.
This position is hybrid, with flexibility to work remotely part of the week. Candidates must be available to commute to the Vancouver office as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Meaningfully contribute to the planning, design, and construction administration of civil engineering projects.
- Perform design level tasks working in sync with CAD operators.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and quality standards to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to align expectations and deliver results.
- Provide oversight for construction sites, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Drive innovation to enhance the effectiveness and community impact of engineering solutions.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, with ability to obtain Washington and Oregon licensure within 6 months of hire
- Experience with public works and capital facilities projects (water or sewer project experience preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, WWHM2012, and HydroCAD
- Strong understanding of design and construction principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- 5+ years of professional civil engineering experience
- Proficiency in Mike+, ArcGIS, and project management software
- Demonstrated passion for advancing water and infrastructure projects that benefit communities
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $80,000–$130,000
